The short version

We do not sell your data.
We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
We collect only what the app needs to work.
Data is encrypted in transit.
You can request deletion of your account and data at any time.

What we collect, and why

Name	Yes	Account identity and display within your church.
Email address	Yes	Sign-in, account recovery, and service messages.
Password	Yes, hashed	Authentication. Stored as a bcrypt hash, never in readable form.
Phone number	Optional	Only if you choose to add it to your profile.
Photos and videos	Optional	Only media you deliberately upload to your church gallery or a chat.
Messages and prayer requests	Yes	To deliver chat and prayer features to your congregation.
Push notification token	Optional	Only if you allow notifications. Used to deliver church announcements.
App diagnostics	Yes	Crash and reliability data to keep the app working.
Precise location	No	The app does not track your location.
Contacts	No	The app does not read your address book.
Advertising identifiers	No	The app serves no ads and does not track you across apps.
Financial or card details	No	Payments are handled entirely by our payment processors. We never receive card numbers.

Device permissions we ask for

Photos and camera — only when you choose to upload or capture media.
Microphone — only when you record a video.
Notifications — only to deliver announcements from your church.

Each permission is requested at the moment you first use the feature, and you can decline or revoke it in your device settings without losing access to the rest of the app.

Who data is shared with

Only with service providers that operate the platform on our behalf — hosting, push notification delivery, optional sign-in providers, and payment processors. They may use the data only to provide their service to us. The full list is in our privacy policy.

How data is protected

All traffic uses encrypted HTTPS connections.
Passwords are salted and hashed with bcrypt.
Access to member data is scoped to your own church and enforced on the server, not just in the app.
Private content such as prayer requests and member contact details is stripped from every public endpoint.
Administrative access is restricted and authenticated.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your information while your account is active. You can request deletion at any time and we will remove your personal data within 30 days. See the data deletion page for step-by-step instructions.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13. See our child safety standards for our policy on child protection and how to report a concern.
